Job summary

Path (Plymouth Access to Housing) Limited is seeking a Housing Support Worker to join the Housing Information and Support Service in Plymouth. You will work with people at risk of homelessness, delivering practical support, advice and encouragement to help them access and sustain accommodation.

A proactive, person‑centred approach and strong communication are essential. You'll manage a varied caseload, coordinate with landlords and partner agencies, and maintain accurate records while helping

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people and managing a caseload.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with clients facing complex challenges.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of housing, homelessness or related support services.
• Team player in a friendly, dedicated team.

Responsibilities

Housing Support Worker - Targeted Tenancy Support

Salary: £27,087 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 30 Hours per Week

As a Housing Support Worker with Path's Housing Information and Support Service, you'll work closely with people who are vulnerable to homelessness, providing practical support, advice and encouragement to help them secure, manage and sustain accommodation. You'll manage a varied caseload, delivering personalised support tailored to individual needs, helping people access housing, maximise their income and benefits, and connect with health, wellbeing and other community services. Working alongside landlords, housing providers and partner agencies, you'll play a key role in helping people build stability, independence and confidence, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a high-quality, person-centred service.
