Qualifications

• Experience in housing or homelessness services.
• Understanding of homelessness challenges.
• Good IT skills and ability to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals and support the allocation process.
• Complete risk and needs assessments with prospective tenants.
• Help families settle into accommodation and explain tenancy responsibilities.
• Support tenants with housing benefit applications, repairs, and tenancy matters.
• Maintain regular contact and provide practical advice and guidance.
• Signpost residents to health, education, employment and substance misuse services.
• Help tenants access move-on accommodation and housing options.
• Monitor risks and tenancy breaches, including anti-social behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records and update IT systems.
• Assist with health and safety checks and maintain a safe environment.
