Job summary

Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association Limited in Basildon, Essex, is seeking a Housing Support Assistant for a temporary role at Phoenix House. You will oversee day-to-day housing management, supporting tenants and visiting multiple sites to conduct safety checks.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tenancy services.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE Grade C in English and Maths.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant area.
• Full valid driving licence and ability to travel between schemes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the supported housing service to deliver an effective housing management service.
• Be the first point of contact for tenants living in supported living and respond to queries to enable tenancy sustainment.
• Travel to different supported living properties within your patch to complete required weekly and monthly Health & Safety checks.
• Be responsible for maintaining property files to evidence compliance.
• Build positive relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage supplies, furniture and equipment and keep records and filing systems up to date.

Your role
