Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Senior Care and Support Assistant at Hilltop House to lead a team delivering compassionate support for residents with learning disabilities. You will supervise care staff, provide personal care, and foster confidence and independence while maintaining safety and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising people is desirable.
• Recent experience supporting vulnerable people in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach.
• Strong organisational skills and basic literacy and numeracy.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
