Job summary

Providence Row's Advice & Support Team is seeking a Tenancy Support Case Worker to assist London-based clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will manage caseloads, providing tailored support plans, housing referrals and access to health and employment services.

A compassionate, collaborative approach is essential to help clients move towards stable accommodation. The role involves working with local authorities and partner agencies, maintaining records in Inform, and upholding

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
• Understanding of housing legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Part VII of the Housing Act 1996.
• Experience of key working, case management and developing personalised support plans.
• Strong communication, organisation and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, completing assessments and developing personalised support plans and goals.
• Provide advice and support around housing, accommodation, benefits, finances and tenancy sustainment.
• Make housing referrals and support clients to access appropriate accommodation through local authority and other housing options services.
• Support clients to access mental health, substance misuse, healthcare, training and employment services.
• Identify and refer safeguarding concerns, including domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, modern slavery and adult social care needs.
• Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, health services and other partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case records and client information using the Inform database.
• Build strong relationships with clients, partner agencies and housing providers to increase access to suitable accommodation.
