Central Recruitment is recruiting for a PRS Caseworker to support people experiencing homelessness in London, helping them resettle into and sustain private rented accommodation. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with hybrid work from an office in King’s Cross and some home working.

Temporary cover for approximately 2 months. You will hold a caseload, complete strengths-based assessments, co-produce move-on plans, and liaise with landlords to secure suitable

Competenze

• Experience delivering strengths-based, person-centred support to homeless or housing-insecure people.
• Experience or understanding of moving into and sustaining private rented accommodation.
• Knowledge of PRS factors affecting access to affordable housing, with landlord experience desirable.
• Understanding of welfare benefits, financial inclusion and tenancy issues.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and safety planning in community support.
• Understanding health needs and barriers to care for homeless individuals.
• Ability to translate assessments into clear, outcome-focused support plans.
• Ability to build relationships with landlords, agencies and professionals.

Mansioni

• Hold a caseload of 10-15 clients and provide regular one-to-one support.
• Complete strengths-based assessments identifying needs and goals.
• Co-produce personalised support and move-on plans.
• Source affordable private rented accommodation across London.
• Liaise with landlords/agents to secure tenancy and explain requirements.
• Explore alternative housing pathways when PRS is no longer suitable.
• Support clients to manage tenancy responsibilities and finances.
• Coordinate with housing, benefits, health and other services.
• Support access to education, training and employment opportunities.
• Note: role involves lone working and occasional home working.
