Job summary

Codi Group is seeking a housing support service manager to lead a team delivering quality support to adults experiencing homelessness. You will foster excellence through partnerships, service improvement, and staff wellbeing while guiding your team to better outcomes for clients.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, report-writing skills, and a solid understanding of homelessness issues coupled with a driving licence and vehicle access.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support environment with leadership/management.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Produce concise, accurate written reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, staff and partners.
• Knowledge of homelessness issues and the Psychological Environment framework.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the service, including health and safety, maintenance and neighbour relations.
• Be responsible for the annual budget and monitoring the service’s income.
• Advise clients on welfare rights, housing options and related information.
• Provide resettlement advice to address move-on needs.
• Monitor the service and update procedures as needed.
• Build relationships with local neighbourhoods, businesses, commissioners and council.
