Job summary

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is seeking a Housing Solutions Team Leader to guide a team delivering housing advice, homelessness prevention, relief and statutory homelessness services. You will ensure high-quality customer-focused services and compliance with homelessness legislation.

You will lead Housing Solutions Officers, provide expert guidance on complex cases, and work with partners to improve housing outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in homelessness, housing solutions, social housing, or similar customer-facing work.
• Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing options.
• ProvenAbility to supervise and develop staff and deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop the Housing Solutions Officers to deliver housing advice and homelessness prevention services.
• Provide expert guidance on complex homelessness cases and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with homelessness legislation and statutory guidance; drive performance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with partners and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
