Job summary

RG Setsquare is recruiting a Live Smart Scheme Manager to oversee an over-55s housing scheme in Luton. The role is a temporary position designed to cover a departing staff member and is expected to last up to 18 months or until the final resident has moved out.

The successful candidate will support residents, maintain the smooth running of the scheme and ensure health and safety standards are upheld. Welfare checks and administrative duties are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with residents from diverse backgrounds.
• Able to organise and maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Experience with administrative duties and welfare checks is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and know when to escalate concerns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with residents to check on wellbeing and safety.
• Conduct welfare checks as per schedule and document findings.
• Carry out health and safety checks across the scheme.
• Report concerns or maintenance needs and follow up.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks.
• Build positive relationships with residents, contractors and others.
• Visit residents in their homes as part of welfare checks.
