Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking an experienced Business Manager to work with the Assistant Director for Housing Repairs & Maintenance during the Future Sheffield programme and the new operating model. You will provide strategic and operational support across planning, governance, performance and service improvement.

Working with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement, coordinate change initiatives, and ensure robust processes and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing high-quality business management support to senior leaders.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of performance management, governance and continuous improvement.
• The ability to analyse and interpret information, turning data and insight into meaningful action.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience of supporting and coordinating organisational change or transformation programmes.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver results in a complex and fast-moving environment.
