Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd. is recruiting for a Repairs Coordinator to support a Nottinghamshire local authority housing team. The role involves coordinating repairs from first notification to completion, managing requests, arranging inspections and ensuring timely actions.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to handle multiple repairs and deadlines. Training is provided, with an office-based role and standard working hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, repairs coordination, housing or similar process-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn about damp and mould, Awaab's Law and housing repairs processes.
• Experience in a local authority or social housing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs inbox and coordinate incoming repair requests.
• Raise repair jobs and schedule inspections and appointments.
• Coordinate with inspectors, contractors, residents and internal housing teams.
• Monitor repairs from initial report through to completion.
• Ensure cases are progressed and closed within required timescales.
