Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Repairs Planner to join a Stockport-based housing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role coordinates housing repairs from initial notification through to completion, with a view to a permanent position after the temporary period.

You will manage incoming repair requests, arrange inspections and works, monitor progress, and ensure actions are followed up within required timescales.

Qualifications

• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and a busy workload.
• Experience in administration, repairs coordination or housing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs inbox and coordinate incoming repair requests.
• Raise repair jobs and schedule inspections and appointments.
• Coordinate with inspectors, contractors, residents and internal teams.
• Monitor repairs from report to completion.
• Track outstanding jobs and chase overdue actions.
• Maintain accurate records and update systems.
