Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods? Do you have experience leading teams to make a real difference?
We're looking for an inspiring Housing Operations Manager to join our established Worcester team. You'll lead a passionate group of Neighbourhood Officers and Localities Operations Coordinators, driving great performance and ensuring our customers receive the best possible housing service.
This role is all about leadership, collaboration, and making a difference. In this role, you'll lead a team to deliver high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services across our Localities Portfolio. You'll be responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to support sustainable communities and improve service delivery.
You'll play a vital part in maintaining compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding standards, and operational excellence — ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our commitment to quality and care. You'll work alongside other Operation Managers across the Group to ensure there's consistency in your approach.
You'll manage performance, and risk, whilst driving innovation and continuous improvement. You'll also respond to complaints and enquiries, lead on audits, and contribute to strategic projects. This is a visible leadership role where you'll model our values, promote collaboration, and help shape the future of our housing services.
You'll work closely with Property Care and other teams to deliver seamless services across the localities model — helping to create safer, better-connected communities.
Your week will be varied: from supporting your team with complex tenancy cases, to leading meetings in our Central Park office, to building relationships with key partners such as local authorities and the police. The role brings the opportunity to work with other community groups, bringing together strategy and operational objectives.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work regularly in our Worcester office to work alongside your team and wider Platform colleagues. The rest of your role will be a mix of working on patch with your colleagues or working from home. You will also have a strong geographic and socio-economic knowledge of Worcester and a willingness to learn about the area you'll be supporting in.
