AWD online is seeking a Housing Operations Manager in Blackburn to shape how housing services are assured and improved. You will connect regulation, policy, staff knowledge and practice to identify gaps and turn findings into practical improvements.

Leading with KPIs and training, you will support person-centred services for vulnerable tenants and potentially take on wider operational leadership as capability grows.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in housing management, preferably in social housing.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for housing providers.
• Experience in developing or implementing policies and procedures.
• Experience in training, coaching or developing staff and communicating complex requirements clearly.
• Experience monitoring performance using KPIs or management information.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to identify gaps, research unfamiliar issues and make evidence-based recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into operational practice and maintain assurance evidence.
• Oversee policy and procedure alignment with daily practice and communicate changes.
• Identify learning needs, deliver trainings, produce guidance and evaluate impact on practice.
• Provide guidance across tenancy management, rent, service charges, arrears, complaints, safeguarding, voids and lettings.
• Review cases and practices for compliance and support sound decisions in complex matters.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and dashboards; investigate underperformance and track improvements.
• Coordinate audits and process reviews, turning learning into practical improvements.
• Lead and motivate a housing management team and progressively assume wider responsibility.
