Job summary

Waverley Housing is seeking an experienced housing professional to lead and improve our Housing Management service, guiding Officers and the Housing Assistant to deliver high-quality tenancy management, rent arrears handling, antisocial behaviour responses and estate care.

This senior role combines frontline leadership with a focus on service improvement and compliance, supporting colleagues and driving positive outcomes for tenants and communities.

Qualifications

• Frontline housing/tenancy-management experience required.
• Experience managing complex housing-management cases.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or supervising colleagues.
• Solid understanding of social housing legislation, regulation and good practice.

Responsibilities

• Support, coach and develop Housing Officers and the Housing Assistant.
• Oversee delivery of effective and customer-focused housing-management services.
• Support colleagues with complex rent arrears and tenancy-management cases.
• Promote tenancy sustainment and positive outcomes for tenants and communities.
• Monitor operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with legislation, policy and good practice.
• Contribute to housing-management procedures and service-improvement work.
