Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Housing Officer to join a client in the United Kingdom on a 6-month hybrid contract. The role focuses on managing a caseload of general needs tenants, addressing tenancy issues, arrears, and safeguarding concerns, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

You will carry out tenancy visits, liaise with internal teams and external authorities, ensure records compliance, and support vulnerable tenants.

Qualifications

• Manage a caseload of general needs tenants and properties.
• Deal with tenancy issues, breaches of tenancy, ASB and safeguarding.
• Manage rent arrears and arrange repayment plans; attend court for possession and arrears.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tenancy visits and inspections; identify and resolve issues early.
• Provide advice and signpost welfare, financial and support services.
• Liaise with internal departments, external agencies, local authorities and legal representatives to resolve housing-related issues.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained and all actions comply with legislation and procedures.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service while managing challenging situations and supporting vulnerable tenants.
