Northern Ireland Housing Executive is recruiting a Patch Manager via MPA Recruitment for a full-time, temporary 13-week assignment. The role offers £16.90 per hour and involves managing a designated housing patch, supporting tenants, and maintaining safe, well-managed estates.

You will handle tenancy terminations, commencements and rent accounts, liaising with tenants and stakeholders. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with flexibility and pension contributions.

Competenze

• All applicants must demonstrate experience delivering a high standard of customer service within a customer focused environment.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field with at least one year’s customer support experience.
• BTEC Higher Certificate or Diploma in Housing with at least one year’s customer support experience.
• BTEC Higher Certificate or Diploma, or equivalent, with at least two years’ customer support experience.
• Equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning with at least three years’ customer support experience.

• Managing tenancy terminations and empty properties, ensuring homes are ready for new tenants.
• Completing tenancy commencement activities and supporting new tenants.
• Managing existing tenancies and other tenure types across your designated patch.
• Processing transfer, succession, assignment, joint tenancy and direct exchange applications.
• Managing rent accounts, income collection and tenancy related administration.
• Carrying out estate management duties and responding to tenant enquiries.
• Coordinating tenant consultations and arrangements connected to planned maintenance, including temporary moves, customer payments and records.
• Promoting community involvement, cohesion and safety.
• Liaising with internal teams, external stakeholders and the Housing Executive’s leasehold unit.

Job Description

MPA Recruitment is recruiting a Patch Manager on behalf of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys working directly with the public and supporting local communities.

You will manage a designated housing patch, supporting tenants, overseeing tenancy matters and helping to maintain safe, well managed estates.

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification and experience routes:

• A degree level qualification or equivalent, plus at least one year’s relevant experience in a customer support environment.

OR

• A BTEC Higher Certificate or Diploma in Housing, plus at least one year’s relevant experience in a customer support environment.

OR

• A BTEC Higher Certificate or Diploma, or equivalent, plus at least two years’ relevant experience in a customer support environment.

OR

• Equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning, plus at least three years’ relevant experience in a customer support environment.

All applicants must also demonstrate experience of delivering a high standard of customer service within a customer focused environment.

Skills and Experience

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders.


• Experience in customer support, social housing or a similar public facing environment.


• Knowledge of housing law, tenancy agreements and housing solutions.


• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and follow policies and procedures.
