Job summary

Vanrath is recruiting for a Public Sector housing support role across Northern Ireland. You will deliver a customer-focused tenancy management service within your patch, handling lettings, arrears, and tenancy concerns to sustain homes.

The role requires a Level 6 degree or equivalent, or a Level 5 housing qualification with experience, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. A full driving licence or access to transport is essential, with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Degree (Level 6) or equivalent with at least 1 year's experience in a customer support environment, or
• BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma (Level 5) in Housing with 1 year's experience, or
• Equivalent professional development and 3 years' relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver a customer-focused housing management service within your patch
• Manage tenancies from commencement through to termination, ensuring compliance and sustainability
• Support tenants to maintain their homes and resolve issues such as rent arrears or tenancy concerns
• Liaise with contractors and agencies to maintain estates and properties to a high standard
• Promote community involvement and cohesion by engaging with residents and local partners
• Contribute to planned maintenance and redevelopment projects through consultation and coordination
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with policy and governance

• Promote community involvement and cohesion by engaging with residents, local partners, and support organisations
• Contribute to planned maintenance and redevelopment projects through consultation and coordination
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring all activity complies with organisational policy and governance frameworks
