Job summary

Wheatley Homes South in Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a Housing Officer on a temporary contract to deliver a range of housing services and personalised solutions for customers. The role requires regular travel across Wigtownshire, with a full UK driving licence and ability to drive.

You will manage neighbourhood and arrears, lettings, anti-social behaviour, adaptations and tenancy matters, working with customers, colleagues and partner agencies to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and proactive with the ability to work independently in local communities.
• Excellent communication and listening skills; able to build trusted relationships.
• CIH Level 3 or equivalent qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Manage neighbourhood and arrears, lettings, anti-social behaviour, adaptations, and tenancy matters.
• Collaborate with customers, colleagues, contractors and partner agencies to resolve issues.
• Contribute to performance, continuous improvement, value for money and tenancy compliance.
