Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is recruiting a Housing Officer in Bristol. This full-time, permanent role offers a mix of home-working, office-based duties, and customer-facing meetings. You will manage tenancy and neighbourhood services while engaging with residents, partners, and authorities.

You will ensure services are safe, compliant, and responsive, using data to drive improvements and support community development. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tenancy, lease, or neighbourhood management services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for influencing and resolving issues.
• Collaborative approach across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of landlord services and applying it in practice.
• Customer-first mindset with a track record of positive outcomes.
• Confidence using digital tools to support service delivery.
• Full driving licence and access to your own car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management services across your locality.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for customers.
• Build relationships with local authorities, community groups, and partner agencies.

Salary:

£32,000.00 - £40,000.00 Per year

We’re excited to be recruiting a new Housing Officer role to join our team in Bristol.

This is a full time permanent role where you will manage your own diary.

There will be a mix of working from home, the office and meeting with our customers, colleagues and partner agencies.

The Role:

As a Housing Officer , you’ll be visible and proactive within your community. Working directly with residents, colleagues, and partners to deliver customer-focused services.

You’ll play a key role in tenancy, lease, and neighbourhood management, ensuring that our services are safe, compliant, and responsive.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering excellent tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management services across your locality
• Acting as a trusted point of contact for customers
• Building relationships with local authorities, community groups, and partner agencies
• Using data insights to improve services and ensure compliance with legislation and regulations
• Supporting neighbourhood improvements and shaping services based on the voice of our customers
• Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring data is used responsibly
• Promoting SNG’s values and culture of collaboration, safety, and inclusion
