Job Opportunity: Housing Officer (Temporary)

One of our local government clients is currently recruiting an experienced Housing Officer on a temporary basis. This role is a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of extension. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This is a hybrid role; however, you will be required to attend the office 2-3 times a week.

Main Duties:

1. Conduct tenancy audits to ensure homes are well maintained.
2. Carry out mutual exchange property inspections.
3. Visit residents during their introductory tenancy period.
4. Perform estate and block inspections to maintain high standards.
5. Host accompanied viewings with prospective tenants.
6. Sign up new tenancies and guide new residents through the process.
7. Support the compliance team with property access, including gas entry warrants.
8. Assist the property maintenance team with access for Stock Condition Surveys.
