Job description

Full job description
Hilldale Housing Association is a small organisation that grew up in the Northwest but now has a national reach. We are part of the Change Housing Group that aims to support and develop smaller organisations by improving and growing their businesses and housing solutions to enable more people to live independently.

We are continuously evolving our services to enhance the support we provide to tenants, while also strengthening our organisation to enable further growth and investment—ensuring we can meet the needs of those seeking to live independently with tailored support.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join our Housing Services team. Our tenants are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to always acting in their best interests. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for delivering excellent housing management services, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to work independently while remaining a key part of a supportive and collaborative team.

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service across the Midlands, supporting tenants in maintaining successful tenancies and ensuring our homes and communities remain safe and well-managed.

This is a remote role, however, you will be fully supported by our wider Housing team and expected to engage in regular virtual meetings. Occasional travel to our Head Office in Salford will be required for team meetings, training, or other business needs. We are looking for someone who can work alongside partners to improve services and help Hilldale grow and enhance its reputation across your region as a provider of housing solutions for people who need support to live independently.

The role will be homebased but require visits to sites across The Midlands (including Stoke, Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham) therefore you will need to be able to travel with expenses paid.

The post is full time working 37.5 hours over 5 days per week.

In the last year Hilldale have gone through significant change and challenge which has built a firm foundation for the future. Our focus now is to use that platform to develop a more efficient and high quality service by developing our people but also by listening and responding to the needs of Tenants and those we work closely with.

If you feel as though you can bring something special to our team then we want to hear from you . It’s a difficult and demanding role but one where the right person can make a big impact and have a say and influence on the future of Hilldale.
