Job description

Social network you want to login/join with:

At Centrick, we’re committed to delivering outstanding property services that genuinely make a difference. As our portfolio of social housing continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and capable Property Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio and ensure our clients and residents receive a consistently high standard of service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in residential property management who thrives on building strong relationships, delivering operational excellence, and has a proactive, solutions-focused approach. While this is primarily a tenancy-focused role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a rudimentary understanding of building management, with support from our wider Building & Estate Management (B&EM) team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Head of Asset Management to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams, helping to position Centrick as a trusted and professional property partner.
  • Managing your allocated social housing portfolio in line with agreed service levels and KPIs, acting as the central point of contact for both the client and key internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the smooth delivery of month-end client reporting, collaborating with Tenancy Services, Client Accounts, and other departments to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Reviewing portfolio performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement, escalating issues where necessary and driving forward resolutions.
  • Contributing to internal management meetings and representing the business in external client meetings, helping to embed a strong service-led approach across all partnerships.
  • Assisting in the onboarding of new clients and property portfolios, ensuring all operational aspects are carefully transitioned and aligned with Centrick’s service delivery standards.
  • Collaborating with the Building & Estate Management team to ensure a basic level of site oversight, compliance, and building-level reporting is maintained across your sites.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in residential property management, ideally with exposure to social housing or local authority relationships.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build credibility.
  • Confident managing tenancy lifecycles, understanding key housing legislation, and working to set KPIs.
  • A proactive and well-organised individual with a problem-solving mindset.
  • A basic understanding of building compliance, site inspections, and estate-level reporting is desirable.
  • Comfortable using property management systems and reporting tools (training will be provided).
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload across a diverse portfolio.

What’s in it for you?

We’ve fostered a values driven, inclusive environment for our people so that they enjoy coming to work every day. Not only will you have access to all of the below rewards & benefits, but you’ll enjoy access to Centrick Academy, our learning platform, as well as having the opportunity to undertake industry qualifications and further your professional development.

  • Health and Wellbeing: With Medicash, you can access a virtual GP service, get help with alternative therapies or claim back optical or dental expenses, ensuring your health and well-being are always a priority.
  • Rest and Adventure: Enjoy 25 days of holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
  • Future Security: We have a generous scaling pension scheme, allowing you to save for your future.
  • Celebrate Your Day: Take an extra day off on us for your birthday!
  • Extra Time: Your holiday allowance increases with your length of service.
  • Investing in Your Skills: We support your growth and development with study support.
  • Looking After You: Company sick pay increases with your length of service with roles at Centrick, because your well-being matters to us.
  • Your Wellbeing Matters: We offer 24/7 mental health support and complementary counselling sessions.
  • Giving Back: We believe in community and giving back. Enjoy one volunteering day for charity, allowing you to make a difference in a cause you care about.
