Shelter is seeking a Housing First Engagement Worker in South Tyneside to deliver intensive support to a small number of individuals with multiple disadvantages, helping them move from homelessness to sustaining a tenancy.

You will build links with partner organisations, work with people who have lived experience of homelessness, and apply a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach while writing person-centred support plans and detailed case notes.

Formación

• Experience of support work with individuals facing multiple disadvantage.
• Ability to listen, engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches.
• Experience writing and implementing person-centred support plans and case notes.
• Flexible time management and ability to collaborate with teams.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver intensive support to up to seven clients at any one time.
• Form links with partner organisations and agencies.
• Support clients on their journey from homelessness to sustaining a tenancy.
• Work as part of the Housing First team in South Tyneside.
