Responsibilities

• Managing the Housing Finance inbox and responding to customer queries promptly.
• Providing financial and accounting support to the Housing Service.
• Processing payments, invoices, and financial transactions.
• Setting up and maintaining direct debits and rent accounts.
• Taking payments over the phone and supporting customer enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Supporting continuous improvement and effective service delivery across the team.

Pay:

£15.06 per hour, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Location:

Must be able to get to both offices Kettering NN16 8PP & Corby NN17 4SW office based only.

Length:

3 months with review for extension

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for a Housing Finance Officer to join their Housing Services team.

The Role:

You will play a key role in delivering financial and administrative support across the Housing Service, ensuring accurate management of income and expenditure across housing accounts. You will also provide high-quality customer service, helping resolve queries and supporting residents with financial matters relating to their housing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the Housing Finance inbox and responding to customer queries promptly
• Providing financial and accounting support to the Housing Service
