Nottingham City Council is seeking a Housing Advisor to provide housing advice and prevent homelessness, supporting the allocation of temporary and supported accommodation at Loxley House, Nottingham.

The role involves intervening on behalf of people facing homelessness, advocating to prevent homelessness, and maintaining accurate data records while using IT systems like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A DBS check is required.

Competenze

• Practical knowledge of IT systems and MS Office to produce documents.
• Ability to communicate complex issues face-to-face with tact and customer care.
• Understanding homelessness and the Housing Act 1996 to assess duties.
• Safeguarding knowledge.
