Elizabeth Finn Homes is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Supervisor for Rush Court Care Home near Wallingford, Oxfordshire. You will lead the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver a high-quality, hygienic environment for residents, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires NVQ levels 2/3 in housekeeping, stock control, and good administration/IT skills, with weekend work expected. Competitive hourly rate £15.52 and a permanent contract.

• NVQ level 2 or 3 in housekeeping is essential.
• Experience in provision of housekeeping services is required.
• Stock control experience desirable.
• General administration and IT proficiency desirable.

Hourly Rate: £15.52 per hour

Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Weekend availability required

About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure a high quality and efficient cleaning and laundry service is provided to residents. This will include management of Housekeeping Assistants and Domestic/Laundry Assistants and giving residents a prompt and courteous service at all times.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality cleaning and laundry services, maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Engage regularly with residents to meet individual needs with minimal disruption.
• Ensure all laundry is processed to a high standard, including washing, drying, and ironing of clothing and linens.
• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, including rota planning, training, recruitment, and performance management.
• Manage stock, supplies, and equipment effectively, ensuring safe use, proper storage, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and audit housekeeping standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulations, and reporting incidents, concerns, or improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• NVQ level 2 & 3 in Housekeeping (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous expereince in provision of Houskeeping Services.
• Stock control experience.
• General administration and IT proficiency is desirable.
