Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Supervisor for Rush Court Care Home near Wallingford, Oxfordshire. You will lead the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver a high-quality, hygienic environment for residents, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires NVQ levels 2/3 in housekeeping, stock control, and good administration/IT skills, with weekend work expected. Competitive hourly rate £15.52 and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or 3 in housekeeping is essential.
• Experience in provision of housekeeping services is required.
• Stock control experience desirable.
• General administration and IT proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning and laundry services while maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for residents.
• Supervise housekeeping assistants, plan rotas, and support recruitment and performance management.
• Monitor stock, supplies and equipment for cost efficiency and safe use.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report incidents or improvements.
• Interact with residents to meet individual needs with courtesy and minimal disruption.
