Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell, Luxury Wellness Retreat, is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor. This full-time, permanent role supports and leads the housekeeping team to maintain superb guest spaces, collaborating with reception and other departments to manage arrivals, departures and special requests.

The ideal candidate thrives on detail, can prioritise a busy workload, and demonstrates strong communication and safety awareness. Experience in housekeeping supervision is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must excel at leading, motivating and supporting others.
• Strong eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
• Confident communication with different teams and staff.
• Understanding health, safety and COSHH procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support and superviseRoom Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Inspect guest bedrooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate with Reception and other teams on arrivals, departures, room moves, VIPs and special requests.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys and cupboards stocked; organise deep cleans and track room priorities.
• Act on guest feedback to maintain and raise standards.
• Welcome and train new starters; enforce housekeeping, health & safety and COSHH procedures.
• Complete stock takes, audits, equipment checks and report safety or maintenance issues.
