Job summary

Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell is seeking a Nights Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and uphold our high standards for guest rooms and public areas. The role is full-time and permanent, based on site at Ardencote Manor, with a salary of £29,000 per year and an estimated start date in late December 2026.

You will supervise Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners, inspect spaces, and coordinate with Reception to manage arrivals, departures and special requests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising housekeeping teams.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
• Strong communication with multiple teams.
• Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH practices.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and supervising Housekeeping staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Inspecting bedrooms and public areas to ensure readiness for guests.
• Collaborating with Reception and other teams on check-ins, arrivals, and VIP requests.
• Managing housekeeping stock, organising deep cleans and prioritising rooms.
• Acting on guest feedback to maintain and raise standards.
