Job summary

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and develop the luxurious housekeeping team, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and high service standards across all guest areas.

You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, conduct briefings, and maintain safety and compliance within a historic five-star setting by Blackfriars Station in central London.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment, trolleys, and storage are maintained and safe.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Support stock control and inventory reporting.
• Promote a safe working environment and compliance with policies.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Housekeeping Supervisor role

• Lead, motivate and support the Housekeeping team by providing regular feedback, coaching and on-the-job training to maintain high performance and service standards.


• Conduct daily team briefings, allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of duties.


• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation and compliance with hotel standards.


• Monitor room statuses and housekeeping tasks through Hotsos, ensuring requests, maintenance issues and guest requirements are actioned promptly.


• Ensure housekeeping equipment, trolleys, storage areas and pantries are maintained, well-stocked, organised and in safe working condition.


• Handle guest requests, concerns and housekeeping-related complaints professionally, taking immediate action to ensure guest satisfaction.


• Support stock control processes, including inventory checks, supply monitoring and accurate reporting of departmental requirements.


• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures, reporting hazards, incidents and maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.

You are an organised and detail-oriented housekeeping professional with previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment. You have strong communication skills, a passion for delivering excellent guest service, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting.
