Job summary

Cambridge House, part of Auberge Collection, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to help bring the property's character to life through beautifully presented rooms and impeccable standards. Working with the housekeeping team, you will support daily operations, ensure spaces feel welcoming, and contribute to pre-opening setup.

You will oversee daily housekeeping, inspect rooms, guide colleagues, coordinate room assignments, monitor supplies, liaise with Front Office and Maintenance, and deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotel housekeeping, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of room presentation, cleaning standards, linen care and amenities.
• Ability to organise workloads, coordinate inspections and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork across departments.
• Understanding of health and safety, hygiene, COSHH, and safe cleaning products.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

• Inspect rooms with a discerning eye, paying attention to smallest details that transform a space into an exceptional guest experience.
• Support, guide and inspire fellow team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging a culture of care and pride in our work.
• Coordinate room assignments, priorities and turnaround times, working closely with the wider House team to ensure a seamless guest arrival and stay.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen and amenities, ensuring everything is presented, maintained and readily available.
• Liaise with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to communicate room status updates, report maintenance concerns and ensure issues are resolved promptly and discreetly.
• Champion thoughtful, personalised guest care by addressing special requests and preferences with care.
• Help establish housekeeping standards and ways of working during pre-opening, reflecting Cambridge House quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel, ideally with supervisory responsibility.
• A thorough understanding of room presentation, cleaning standards, linen care, amenities and housekeeping procedures.
• The ability to organise daily workloads, coordinate room inspections and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the confidence to support fellow team members and work collaboratively across departments.
• A sound understanding of health and safety, hygiene standards, COSHH requirements and the safe use of cleaning products.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, as required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
