Job summary

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a luxury team in a fast-paced city hotel. You will supervise daily cleaning operations, mentor staff and ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach housekeeping team to maintain high standards
• Conduct daily briefings, allocate tasks and monitor productivity

• Monitor room statuses and tasks via Hotsos and action requests promptly
• Ensure equipment, trolleys, storage areas and pantries are stocked and safe
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Support stock control, inventory checks and reporting of departmental requirements
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures

Duties and responsibilities related to the Housekeeping Supervisor role

• Lead, motivate and support the Housekeeping team by providing regular feedback, coaching and on-the-job training to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Conduct daily team briefings, allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of duties.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation and compliance with hotel standards.
• Monitor room statuses and housekeeping tasks through Hotsos, ensuring requests, maintenance issues and guest requirements are actioned promptly.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment, trolleys, storage areas and pantries are maintained, well-stocked, organised and in safe working condition.
• Handle guest requests, concerns and housekeeping-related complaints professionally, taking immediate action to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support stock control processes, including inventory checks, supply monitoring and accurate reporting of departmental requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures, reporting hazards, incidents and maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.

You are an organised and detail-oriented housekeeping professional with previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment. You have strong communication skills, a passion for delivering excellent guest service, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting. A positive attitude, flexible approach, and commitment to maintaining high standards are essential.
