OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a highly organised Housekeeping Manager to oversee cleaning operations across the site. You will lead the housekeeping team, manage staff schedules, inventory, and budgets while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strategic planning, proactive problem-solving, and strong leadership to support and develop the team, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service to clients and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping teams in a facilities/ hospitality setting.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Laundry management in conjunction with external suppliers.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and ensure availability when needed.
• Assign cleaning tasks, schedule daily operations, and ensure adherence to organisational cleaning procedures and standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning personnel.
• Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on cleaning operations, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing.
• Customer service focused to address guest complaints and special requests.
