Job summary

Merlin is recruiting Housekeeping Attendants for Alton Towers Resort, the UK’s only UK attraction focused on making Britain happy. You will clean bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas to a high standard, with full training provided for candidates new to housekeeping.

Typical hours are 9:00am–3:00pm, with flexibility for similar shifts; a positive attitude and teamwork are essential to deliver a spotless guest experience across hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hotel environment is desirable, but full training is provided.
• You should have a keen eye for high cleanliness standards.
• This is a physical role; you must be comfortable on your feet for long periods and able to lift, bend and reach.

Responsibilities

• Clean hotel bedrooms to a high standard (beds made, bathrooms cleaned).
• Clean public areas and hotel facilities.
• Replenish supplies and change bed linen as required.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming guest environment throughout the property.

Housekeeping Attendant

Location: Alton Towers Resort

We’re recruiting Housekeeping Attendants to join the hotel housekeeping team at Alton Towers Resort, the UK’s only attraction specialising in making Britain happy!

You’ll play a key role in delivering a clean, safe and welcoming guest experience, maintaining hotel bedrooms, public areas and facilities to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include bedroom cleaning, bathroom cleaning, changing bed linen, replenishing supplies and cleaning public areas throughout our hotels.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding hotel housekeeping role where attention to detail, teamwork and a positive attitude are essential. Full training is provided, so previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.

Regular hours would be 9:00am - 3:00pm but weekday availability and hours between 9.30 -14.30 will also be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Having experience of working as a cleaner within a fast-paced hotel environment is desirable however we will provide you with all of the training you need to succeed in this role! All we need from you is a positive outlook on learning and a keen eye for high cleanliness standards

• We’d love it if you have a keen eye for detail, and of course high standards of cleanliness

• This is a physical role so you must be comfortable to be on your feet for long periods of time, and comfortable with heavy lifting, bending and reaching
