Job summary

LQ Resorts in Oswestry is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for a seasonal period. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor, you will join a small team to clean resort areas including club and spa facilities, starting as early as 5am.

You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, respond to guest requests, and work under pressure to meet deadlines. The role offers a friendly environment with staff benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work early shifts starting at 5am.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for cleanliness throughout club and spa facilities.
• Maintain company cleaning standards and replenish guest amenities.
• Respond to guest requests and report maintenance issues.
• Keep work trolleys stocked and ensure consistent cleaning across the building.
• Work quickly to prepare rooms for arrival and maintain a neat appearance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Assistant to join the resort on a seasonal basis. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager & Housekeeping Supervisor, and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across the resort, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. Candidates will work well under pressure to ensure tasks are completed on time with a commitment to providing the best guest experience at all times. Roles and Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the cleanliness throughout the club & spa facilities
• Ensure that cleaning is to the company standards
• Replenish guest amenities as and when required
• Respond to any guest requests
• Report any maintenance issues within any of the areas
• Replenish work trolleys and clean linen on a daily basis
• Ensure cleaning is consistent across the building
• Working quickly and efficiently so guests' rooms are ready on time for arrival
• Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures such as left luggage policy.
• Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures
