Job summary

Lakeside Hotel & Spa, part of Classic Lodges Limited, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas by Lake Windermere.

You will work with the housekeeping team to deliver a welcoming, well-organised service, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction through attention to detail and proactive, guest-focused routines.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; full training will be provided.
• Friendly, professional approach when engaging with guests.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, public areas and Leisure facilities to hotel standards.
• Maintain high quality and attention to detail in all duties.
• Respond promptly to guest requests to enhance the guest experience.
• Stay organised and proactive in daily housekeeping tasks.
• Support colleagues and uphold cleanliness throughout shifts.

The Opportunity:As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of our facilities. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas are kept to a high standard, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Working closely with the housekeeping team, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the department, consistently upholding standards of cleanliness, organisation, and guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help create a positive and memorable experience for every guest.

• Cleaning guest rooms, public areas and Leisure facilities to our hotel standards.
• Paying close attention to detail by not comprising on quality standards.
