About The Role

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As a Housekeeping Assistant, your role will be to maintain the cleanest, most hygienic home environment. You will ensure the environment is safe, comfortable, and welcoming, reflecting your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we’ll provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. Beyond that, your positive energy and ability to get along with people are key. You should be a great communicator, skilled at listening and giving instructions, and always considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately, including escalation if necessary.
