Job summary

The Lensbury, part of Iconic Hotels & Resorts, is looking for a dedicated Hotel Housekeeping Associate to maintain high cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas on site along the banks of the River Thames in Teddington.

You will make beds, replenish amenities, vacuum, and report maintenance issues while ensuring safety and following company procedures. Strong time management and clear communication with guests and colleagues are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with Housekeeping duties in public areas, e.g. general cleaning of function rooms, ground floor public areas such as lounges, etc.
