Job summary

The Lensbury, located on the Banks of the River Thames in Teddington, is seeking an attentive Housekeeping Associate to join our hotel and leisure team. You will clean guest rooms and public areas, restock amenities, and ensure spotless standards across all spaces to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Attention to detail and thorough cleaning.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follow company policies regarding cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with housekeeping duties in public areas (e.g. function rooms, lounges).

About Us

Part of Iconic Hotels and Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 156 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
• Assist with Housekeeping duties in public areas, e.g. general cleaning of function rooms, ground floor public areas such as lounges, etc.

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
