Job summary

The Lensbury in Teddington, Middlesex, is seeking a Housekeeping Porter to maintain clean and welcoming spaces across guest rooms and public areas. The role offers part-time hours, a casual contract, and a friendly, team-focused environment.

You will assist with bed making, linen changes, trash removal, and reporting issues to the supervisor, with a focus on attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Previous hospitality experience is preferred, and effective time management is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with Housekeeping duties in public areas, e.g. general cleaning of function rooms, ground floor public areas such as lounges, etc.

Key Responsibilities
