Job summary

The Lensbury in Teddington is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Assistant to join our hotel operations. You will clean guest rooms and public areas, make beds, restock amenities, and report maintenance needs in line with our standards.

This casual, on-site role offers day and evening shifts, with meals provided and onsite parking. Join our team to help maintain a welcoming environment for guests and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with Housekeeping duties in public areas, e.g. general cleaning of function rooms, ground floor public areas such as lounges, etc.

Key Responsibilities
