Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Lime Tree Retirement Village in Cawston to work 20 hours per week. The role focuses on cleaning residents' spaces, common areas, and assisting with laundry while maintaining a warm, respectful atmosphere for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise residents' apartments, bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as dining rooms and lounges.
• Assist with laundry services including washing, drying and folding.
• Dispose of waste and recycling properly.
• Follow cleaning schedules and uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and report restocking needs.
• Respond to special requests from residents or families as needed.

Retirement Villages Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Lime Tree Retirement Village based in Cawston, to work on a part-time basis (20 hours per week).

We are committed to creating comfortable and enjoyable living environments for our residents, and housekeeping plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and comfort.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and order of residents' living spaces, common areas, and other facilities in accordance with our high cleanliness standards. Your flexibility and willingness to adapt to different working environments will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize residents' apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including dining rooms, lounges, and recreational spaces.
• Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding residents' clothing and linens.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling.
• Follow cleaning schedules and adhere to high cleanliness standards.
• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed.Respond to special requests from residents or their families as needed.
• Foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere within the retirement village.
