Job summary

Retirement Villages Group Ltd is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to deliver high standards of cleanliness and service across Gradwell Park Retirement Village and residents' homes.

This bank, zero-hours role covers sickness and holiday absence. You will dust, vacuum, launder linens, keep communal areas tidy, and support residents with warmth and discretion.

Experience in residential or hospitality housekeeping, attention to detail, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills; friendly and compassionate demeanor.
• Sensitivity to needs and preferences of older adults.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning residents' apartments: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Laundering residents' linens and clothing with care.
• Keeping communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and hallways clean and presentable.
• Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village.

We are looking for a Housekeeper to provide the highest standards of cleanliness and service across our beautiful Gradwell Park Retirement Village and in residents homes while delivering excellent customer service. This is a Bank position working on a zero hour contract to cover sickness and holiday. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing regular cleaning tasks in residents' apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Laundering residents' linens and clothing with care and attention to detail
• Keeping communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and hallways clean and presentable
• Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanour
• Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training
