Job summary

Maplewood Court in Maidstone is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our warm, supportive care home team. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across residents' rooms and communal areas, delivering a safe and comfortable environment for all.

Hours are 32 per week with a permanent contract; pay is £13.20 per hour. We offer meals per shift, uniform, annual leave, cycle to work and other rewards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred; care home experience is a bonus.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards across residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Carry out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Support infection control procedures.
• Work as part of a friendly team prioritising residents' wellbeing.
