Job summary

Osbern Manor in Wigmore, Gillingham is seeking a dedicated part-time Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across the home. You will join a warm care home team, with a schedule that includes days from 8am to 4:30pm and some weekends/bank holidays.

£13.20 per hour, 24 hours weekly, with responsibilities including routine cleaning, laundry management, and supporting infection control. Prior care home housekeeping experience is a bonus but not essential, and a warm, respectful approach

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards in a care home setting.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Carry out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Support infection control procedures.
• Work as part of a friendly team prioritising residents' wellbeing.
