Job summary

Osbern Manor is seeking a friendly housekeeping colleague to maintain cleanliness across the home and support laundry and infection control. The role is 24 hours per week on a part‑time basis, with daytime shifts including some weekends and Bank Holidays.

The pay is £13.20 per hour and emphasis is on compassionate, resident‑centred care. The ideal candidate will have a warm, respectful approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team to ensure a clean,

• Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is a bonus but not essential).
• A warm and respectful approach when working in residents’ personal spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.
