Job summary

Maplewood Court in Maidstone seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in a warm, residential care setting. You will clean residents' rooms and communal areas, follow routines, and ensure laundry is handled promptly, contributing to a safe and comfortable home for residents.

The role requires a positive, reliable attitude and the ability to work independently as part of a friendly team. Prior care home housekeeping experience is a bonus but not essential.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience in care settings preferred.
Able to work 32 hours per week.
Positive, reliable and respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

Maintain high cleanliness standards in residents' rooms and communal areas.
Follow daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
Ensure laundry is washed, dried and returned promptly.
Support infection control procedures and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with team to prioritize residents' wellbeing.

Pay: £13.20 per hour
