Job summary

Oakland Care in Maidstone is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents. This permanent role offers 32 hours per week with days shifts and a pay of £13.20 per hour.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, manage laundry, and support infection control within a caring home. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and a warm, respectful approach to residents is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, especially in care settings.
• Good attention to detail and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards in residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Carry out daily cleaning and periodic deep-clean routines.
• Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Support infection control procedures.
• Work as part of a friendly team focused on residents' wellbeing.
