Quantum Care is seeking a Housekeeper at our care home in South Oxhey, Watford. You will maintain a clean, welcoming environment, focusing on resident safety, comfort and wellbeing through compassionate, person-centred care.

Job description

Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident's wellbeing.

You'll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
Following health and safety policies and procedures.
You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
